Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of strategic leadership in achieving organizational excellence in the technical education sector. The study was applied to the Palestine Technical College as a model for technical education. It was applied to 177 administrators and academics. The comprehensive survey method was used and the questionnaire was the main tool in data collection.
The key results of the study showed that the level of strategic leadership in the Technical College of Palestine was relatively high (76.138), and the level of institutional excellence was (76.32).
A statistically significant relationship was found between the dimensions of strategic leadership and institutional excellence. (0.745). In addition, the independent variable (strategic leadership) affects the dependent variable (institutional excellence) by 55.2%, while 44.8% is due to other variables.
There was also no difference in the views of the surveyed sample due to the variables (gender, age, qualification, years of service) on the role of strategic leadership in achieving organizational excellence in the technical education sector.
The most important recommendations of the study are:
-Enhancing strategic leadership practices in Palestine Technical College through optimal investment of human capital and interest in continuous learning and improvement.
-To promote institutional excellence through the development of workers and academics and to provide the necessary technological means for technical education.
