Abstract
the study aimed to identify ethical leadership in promoting green human resource management, as an applied study on the municipalities the of northern Gaza Strip. The data were collected by a questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of (30) employees working in the municipality of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. The study concluded the most important results: The role of moral leadership allows the availability of justice in the municipality came to a large degree, by (78.60%), the role of moral leadership in terms of the level of concern for municipality workers came to a large degree, by (80.8%), the role of moral leadership for the extent of the moral standard in the municipality came to a large degree by (75.60%), the role of green human resources management for the extent of green employment within the municipality came to a large degree, by (79.12%), and the role of the Green Human Resources Department for the extent of green training and development within the municipality is large, by (83.50%). Moreover, there are no statistically significant differences at the level (α≥ .05) between the average responses of the respondents about the role of leadership in promoting green human resources management attributed to the study variables: (gender, educational qualification, years of service, job title). The study presented a set of recommendations, including: The necessity of developing the ethical leadership of Beit Lahia municipality, and the necessity of involving the workers in the Beit Lahia municipality in decision-making.
