Abstract
The study aims to identify the reality of performance management approach application and its impact on achieving organizational excellence in Palestinian cellular communications company "JAWWAL". The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach. A questionnaire was developed consisting of (41) paragraphs to collect the necessary preliminary data from the study sample which consists of (60) employees who work in supervisory jobs in all operating branches in the Gaza Strip (Director, Head of Department, Unit Officer). The questionnaire was analyzed and the hypothesis of the study was tested by the Statistical Packages Program (SPSS).
The results showed that JAWWAL implements a performance management approach and its dimensions (performance planning, performance guidance, performance evaluation, performance improvement) with a high score and a mean (3.90). The results also showed that JAWWAL has a high level of organizational excellence with a mean (3.93). moreover, the study showed that there was a statistically significant effect at the level of ( α ≤ 0.05) for the application of performance management approach in achieving organizational excellence in JAWWAL. The study recommends the management of JAWWAL to maintain and improve the level of the current performance management approach implementation and the organizational excellence by giving the employees the necessary powers to perform the work, and senior management contribution in creating motivation towards excellence
