Abstract
This study aims to identifying the reality of strategic leadership skills and their relation to the level of institutional performance from the point of view of workers in the municipalities of Northern Gaza (Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun). In order to achieve the objectives of the study and answer its main questions, the researcher relied on the analytical descriptive approach. The questionnaire tool was used to collect primary data from the sample of the study which consisted of (75) employees in supervising, professional and written jobs. The study concluded that there is a successive relationship with Statistical significance between the strategic leadership skills in the four dimensions (self-skills, technical skills, intellectual skills, management skills) on the one hand and the level of institutional performance in the municipalities on the other. The study also found that the strategic leadership in the three municipalities has a high level of self-skills, intellectual, administrative and technical skills. The results showed that the level of institutional performance in the municipalities under study in its four dimensions (effectiveness, efficiency, correlation and relevance, and sustainability of the institution) was high from the point of view of the sample members.
