The study is based on determining the reality of the use of management style by objectives and its relation to the functional performance in the Palestinian universities in Gaza universities. These are: (trust between the president and subordinates - participation in setting goals - the commitment of subordinates in achieving the goals - feedback) and the extent of those dimensions relationship to job performance. The problem of the study revolves around the fact that Palestinian universities in Gaza use the management method by objectives and its relation to job performance in those universities. The study population was represented in the administrative staff of those universities in Gaza governorate specifically in five universities, private, governmental and non-governmental, and the original community of workers in those universities reached 620 employees. A regular stratified sample of 150 individuals was taken and the researcher used the questionnaire as a study tool.
The study concluded that there is a positive and statistically significant correlation between the use of management style with goals and job performance. The study recommended the importance of focusing on the management style of objectives as one of the important tools in management and the extent of their impact on the performance of the job through enhancing confidence between the president and subordinates and their participation in setting goals and their commitment to achieve those goals.
