Abstract
his study aims to identify the role of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-organization, social skills) at the universities in the Gaza, and to identify the role of emotional intelligence in improving behavior change. The community of the study (235) of senior management at the universities and the response was 110 with percentage (74%). The study concluded that the emotional intelligence contributes to the improvement of behavior of situation, and that there is a significant statistical relationship between the emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-organization, social skills) and the improvement of attitudes and the differences between universities (Al-Azhar, Islamic , Al-Aqsa). The study recommended improving the behavior of the situation in the universities through: 1. Conduct a training program in the emotional intelligence of senior management. 2. Make a complete plan to restructure the skills of senior management in self-regulation, and self-awareness. 3. Attention to social skills during work.
