Abstract
The Corona pandemic had a great impact in imposing many challenges that faced higher education institutions in our country and abroad, and these challenges are represented by universities and many difficulties, especially with regard to achieving the desired goals of field training so that the learning outcomes, needs and quality of training are optimally suited.
Practical education, or what is known as field training, is that program that the College of Education prepares for its students in preparation for their practice of the teaching profession. In it, the student teacher is provided with the information, skills, values, and attitudes necessary for him to perform as a future teacher. This program, of course, includes a number of activities, some of which take place inside the university and others outside it. In schools so that the student-teacher is involved in the real classroom situation to play his role as a trainee teacher, carrying out a set of activities required by the classroom situation and following up on those entrusted with supervision and follow-up.
Field training is an educational process based on scientific, educational and supervisory foundations, and aims to achieve professional and personal growth for students, by acquiring technical field experiences and skills. Field training aims to:
1. Provide students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge and translate it into practical and applied practices.
2. Students acquire technical skills to qualify for field work.
3. The student acquires professional work habits that will benefit them in their work in the future.
4. Providing the student teacher with the knowledge, experience and skills of working with a team, whether with colleagues or specialists.
5. Developing students' abilities for self-learning, self-reliance and self-confidence.
6. Helping the student teacher to apply the sciences and knowledge he learned in an academic manner in the reality of work.
The Corona pandemic deprived students and graduates of field training and preparation for the labor market, as the repercussions of the emerging Corona virus (Covid-19) cast a shadow on university students as well as recent graduates by depriving them of the opportunity for practical field training, which enables the student to finish his studies and graduate on time.
