Abstract

Abstract

The research aims to study the most important distinguishing features in Palestinian captivity literature through studying the novelist place and its significance in two novels, The curtains of darkness by Walid Hodali and knights of liberty by Hisham Abed El-Razik which had employed to produce the textual meaning and contributed in forming the textual indication. There is a closed relation between the freedom of the human and the place where he stays, so that it acquired a great importance in Palestinian narrative. The research discusses the vocabulary of prison according to a bilateral: the internal and the external to indicate how to employ it in two novels significantly.
